Course summary
This double degree aims to produce engineers skilled in the legal, corporate and technology arenas. The course combines the areas of technology with law, producing engineers skilled in the legal, corporate and political arenas. The engineering degree is offered in chemical, civil, electrical and computer systems, materials and mechanical engineering. Graduates are able to practise as solicitors in law firms, and many work in legal teams at large engineering, manufacturing and technology firms. Outside of legal practice, graduates may work in engineering areas such as project management, minerals exploration and mining.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have academic Year 12 or equivalent academic qualification. They must have achieved the following English language proficiency test results: IELTS (minimum test score of 6.5 overall; no individual band less than 6.0); Paper-based TOEFL (minimum test score of 580; a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 4.5); Internet-based TOEFL (a score of at least 90 overall; a Writing score of at least 22; no score lower than 20 on the other sections of the test); Cambridge English CAE (A grade); Cambridge English CEP (C grade).
