Entry requirement for international students

Applicants must have successfully completed the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or an equivalent qualification. International applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria in English language requirements: achieved a study score of at least 25 in English/English Language/Literature, or at least 30 in ESL; TOEFL paper based test score of 577 or more including a score of 4.5 in the Test of Written English, computer based test score of 233 or more including an essay rating score of 4.5, internet based test score of 90 or more with no band score less than 21; an overall band score of 6.5 or more in the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with no bands less than 6.0; satisfactorily complete secondary studies and gain the required score in an approved final-year English subject; within the last two years have satisfactorily completed at least the first year of a tertiary course taught and assessed entirely in English; or within the last five years have satisfactorily completed at least a two year tertiary course taught and assessed entirely in English.
