Course summary
This program provides students with a solid understanding of the basic, clinical and applied sciences. The primary focus of the program is how the body responds differently to various exercise doses. Students will learn how to measure these differences in order to recommend optimal exercise doses in the treatment of diseases, such as cardiovascular conditions. Learning strategies include a mix of lectures, tutorials and practical sessions using problem solving, case studies and clinical reasoning.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent including English, maths B and either chemistry or physics. They must also have achieved an IELTS score = 7.0 (no sub score less than 6.5); TOEFL score 627 (TWE 5); (CBT 263, Essay 5.0; iBT 108 minimum and all sections 26).
