Course summary
This course is integrated with traditional Chinese medicine and has been accepted into mainstream medicine. The basis of Chinese philosophy and acupuncture theory is holistic, acknowledging the existence of a primary motivating life-force and recognizing the relationship with the environment. It restores the harmonious flow of energy by influencing the acupuncture points with needles, lasers, or finger pressure. Traditional Chinese Medicine practiced alongside Acupuncture, uses Chinese herbs and traditional medicines to stimulate and strengthen healing mechanisms and restore balance. Many graduates enter clinical practice either alone or as a partner in a multi-modality clinic. Graduates may become part of the industry either in sales, research or technical support. Alternatively graduates may work with community health services, education or health retreats.
