Course summary
This program is a flexibly delivered degree open to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. The course covers areas including community health, community development, cultural issues, comparative Indigenous health issues and Indigenous health research; which are complemented with study in aboriginal studies, psychology, sociology, education and other related areas. Job opportunities include working in the community sector, in aboriginal medical services or with state or federal health agencies. Graduates may be interested in working in a rural or remote community, or in community development, health promotion, planning or policy.
Entry requirement for international students
Students should have successful completion of a qualification equivalent to the completion of 13 years of schooling in Australia. In addition they should have fulfilled English language requirements with IELTS (academic) overall score of 6.0, TOEFL (Internet-based) score of 79 and passed in English for tertiary studies.
