Course summary
This course is offered jointly by UTS: Nursing, Midwifery and Health and UTS: International Studies. The degree integrates human movement studies with a major in the language and culture of another country. Career options include exercise therapy and teaching of personal development, fitness and corporate health, facility management, health, physical education and outdoor education, sport coaching, sport development, sport management, and sports science and team conditioning. Career options are enhanced by international experience, making students more marketable to prospective employers.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. Admission to the combined degree is on merit according to the admissions policy for the Bachelor of Human Movement (C10041). There is a range of entry levels to the various language and culture programs. Students are admitted to the international studies program with no guarantee of entry to a specific major, although every effort is made to meet students' preferences. Students must fulfill the following English language proficiency of academic IELTS score of: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL: paper based score of: 575 overall with TWE score of 4.5, internet based score of: 90 overall with a writing score of 21; or DEEP Program (Completion of the Insearch Direct Entry English Program at C level) or PTE score of 64.
