Course summary

This program focuses as much on technical and design elements as it does on developing the organisational and interpersonal skills to be work-ready after they graduate. The Advanced Diploma in Interior Design is awarded after two years of full-time study at CIT. Completion of two years of architecture at the University of Canberra offers an alternate entry to the interior design program. Careers are interior designer, event designer, exhibition designer, theatre designer, textile designer, furniture designer, marketing specialist, film and television set designer.

Entry requirement for international students

Students should have obtained Higher Secondary Certificate with a grade average of 76 in academic subjects; all India Senior School Certificate with an overall grade of seven for best four externally examined subjects equivalent to other countries. In addition they should have fulfilled English language requirements with minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (academic) or equivalent.
