Course summary
After extensive consultation with managers the university has created a degree that will allow students the opportunity to pursue a career in medium to large national and international companies. As an expert in computer networking technology including the internet and the World Wide Web they will also be given training that allows them to develop the skills to manage modern networked computing systems in any sized organization. This training will help them develop the skills to manage modern networked computing systems, by equipping them with specialist knowledge in internet programming and application development. By combining internet computing with another of the courses available through the information technology or business schools they will be able to specialize to further improve their career choices. Some career professions include web developer, software Developer etc.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have successful completion of their Diploma or other recognized post-secondary qualification or equivalent. They must achieve any one of the following: at least 7 points over the best 2 or 3 subjects at H2 level in GCA level/STPM; CPS of at least 54 in WAUFP, International Baccalaureate (Full IB Diploma) with score of at least 25, Australian ATAR between 60.00 - 64.99 indicative or an Indonesian SMU3 with a score of 8. In addition students must demonstrate competency in the English language by achieving the following scores in one of the following English language proficiency tests: IELTS 6.0 (no individual band less than 6.0); TOEFL (paper based) 550 (with the Test of Written English 5); TOEFL (internet based) 80 (no band less than 20); Australian Matriculation English with a pass; GCE O-level C6 or better; 1119 General Paper with credit pass; TEE ESL with 60 per cent; or WAUFP ELACS with a pass.
