Course summary
This course focuses strongly on learning outcomes that have professional relevance and practical application. It is designed to challenge students, exposing them to contemporary issues, the latest research and new ideas across diverse areas of the practice and application of law. On completion, opportunities for employment exist in a wide variety of areas and can include careers in: legal practice as a Barrister or Solicitor; government; business and commercial law; environmental law; property law; criminal law; taxation law or corporate law or bankruptcy and insolvency; family law.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed Australian Year 11 and Year 12 or other country specific requirements equivalent to Australia. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.5 (no component lower than 6.0) or TOEFL (paper based) score of 570 (plus minimum Test of Written English score of 4.5) or TOEFL (internet based) score of 90 (minimum writing score of 21) or Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 64.
