Course summary
This course provides both on campus and off campus study opportunities. Students must complete one year from another discipline of study. The Law degree is accredited by the Legal Practitioners Admission Board of NSW for admission to practice in that State and mutual recognition legislation extends this recognition to other Australian jurisdictions.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have assumed knowledge in English. Students from Bangladesh are require to have Higher School Certificate (HSC), First Division Pass (60 per cent) or a minimum overall grade point average score of 3.0. Students from China should satisfy Senior Middle School Certificate of Graduation, completion with an average score of 70 per cent or above and a five week Introductory Academic Program (IAP) for students who have met the IELTS requirement is recommended. Indian students should have all India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Higher School Certificate or Pre-University Certificate (10+2) or Indian School Certificate, completion with a First Division Pass (60 per cent average). Students form Malaysia are required to have Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM), minimum grade point average score of 2.0 (4.0 scale). Students from Singapore must have GCE ‘A’ Levels, equivalent of 4 points in a minimum of 2 relevant ‘A’ Level academic subjects. United Kingdom students should have GCE ‘A’ Levels, equivalent of 4 points in a minimum of 2 relevant ‘A’ Level academic subjects. Students from USA should have High School Diploma and SAT Reasoning Test, High School Graduation Diploma and a SAT Reasoning Test score of 500 in each of the three test sections – Critical Reading; Maths; and Writing.
