Course summary
This program is an exciting medical speciality where Nuclear Medicine Scientists use a mix of sophisticated medical imaging technology, advanced communication skills and radioactive chemical compounds (radio pharmaceuticals) to image and/or treat a wide variety of injuries or diseases ranging from elite athletes with sports injuries to cancer patients.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants must have an Australian Year 12 in Australia or an Australian Year 12 outside Australia or an International Baccalaureate (IB) in Australia. Entry based on UAI or equivalent. Students must also satisfy a minimum TOEFL score of 550 with a Test of Written English (TWE) of 4.5 in the paper based test or a score of 213 with a 4.5 in the Essay Rating in the computer based test, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, with no sub-test score less than 6.0, a C or better in GCE A Level General Paper.
