Course summary
This course is designed to provide an opportunity for students undertaking the Bachelor of Medical Science to learn about applications of the medical sciences in the work place. Potential work place opportunities will be presented to students, such as medical research, clinical science, forensic science or therapeutic science. Problems and issues related to different work places and issues such as ethical conduct will be discussed. The course will include visits to, or experience in, one or more of these workplaces. It is designed for students who are interested in how the human body works and for those who may plan graduate entry into medicine or forensic science. This degree will also give students who have an interest in health administration in both government and private sectors a sound basis for entry into this discipline.
Entry requirement for international students
International students whose native is not English should have the following English qualifications: Academic IELTS - overall score of 7 with at least 6 in each component; TOEFL (paper based test) - a score of 600 with TWE score of 5.0; TOEFL (computer based test) - score of 250 with TWE score of 5.0 or TOEFL (internet based test) - score of 100, with a minimum of 22 in all four sections.
