Course summary

This course prepares graduates to meet current requirements for a nursing career and also provides the skills to deal with situations where a knowledge of human behaviour would be an advantage e.g. in a counselling environment. On completion of this program, students have the option to apply for a fourth year program in psychology, in order to gain provisional registration as a psychologist. Graduates of this course may find employment in a range of health care settings.

Entry requirement for international students

Students must have knowledge in English (4, SA). They must also satisfy English language requirements, IELTS overall band score of 6.5 with no sub-band below 6.0; or TOEFL score of 90 with at least 20 in all bands (Internet Based).
