Course summary
This course is aimed at developing and integrating scientific knowledge and clinical skills. Students will provide preventative treatment to individuals, mindful of the dynamic between oral health and general health. They should be committed to working with colleagues to provide a team approach to oral health care and community needs. Using an evidence-based approach, they will have the skills required to undertake oral health research and communicate the outcomes of this research to a wide range of audiences.
Entry requirement for international students
Students should have a satisfactory audition/ interview is a requirement of admission together with an acceptable level of attainment in year 12 or equivalent. Students must satisfy any one of the following English proficiency requirements whose first language is not English: IELTS an overall band score of 7.0 with no band less than 7.0 , ELICOS Exam Higher Level Pass 2 (HP2) in EAP exam; TOEFL paper based test result of 615 minimum score of 4.5 in TWE or internet result of 103 and min 25 in writing, PTE (Academic) score of 73 with no subtest less than 65, CULT score of 75; Overall OET with grades A or B only in each of the four components (the writing and speaking components must be profession specific).
