Course summary

This course is the opportunity to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of future generations. The course focuses firstly on helping students to develop a greater understanding of the fate of agricultural raw materials, and secondly on the technology of food such as preservation, processing, packaging and distribution to ensure that food is safe, nutritious, and wholesome. Graduates of the course are critical thinkers with skills and techniques related to the processing of agricultural raw materials, and will have a working knowledge of broad areas of application of food science and technology in industry.
