Course summary

This course prepares students for professional and managerial roles within the tourism industry. Students can select an area of specialisation from event management, environmental management, facilities management, marketing and entrepreneurship. These majors will assist them in better defining the career outcomes of a Bachelor of Tourism Management. Students may find employment in tourism operations, attractions and theme parks, airlines, gaming, transportation, tourism planning and strategy, tourism marketing, tourism development, and tourism human resource management.

Entry requirement for international students

Students must have successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent. They must also have IELTS score of 6.5 (no subscore less than 6.0), TOEFL score 570 (TWE 5), CBT 230, essay 5.0, iBT 89 (min) all sections 20, writing score of 22 for direct entry.
