Course summary
This course has been designed as the standard entry level qualification for the hairdressing industry. Likely functions for those who achieve this qualification include employment as a hairdresser working as part of a team in a salon, performing processes that require a range of well developed skills as well as responsibility for own outputs and for the supervision of others, including apprentices. Functions at this level include selling products and services, ensuring a safe working environment, client consultation and advice, hair and scalp treatment, hair cutting, hair design, colour and lightening and chemical reformation services on male and/or female clients.
Entry requirement for international students
Student must provide a minimum IELTS score as part of the student visa application process. They have should IELTS accepted minimum score is 5.5.
