Course summary
This course reflects the role of a qualified Cook. It represents a qualification of the skilled operator who applies a broad range of competencies within a more varied work context, providing technical advice and supporting a team including team leadership responsibilities.
Entry requirement for international students
International student must be aged 18 and above to apply and meet the following requirements. Students should have Year 10 (VIC) or equivalent Australian or international qualification as recognised by Academia International, Satisfy any entry requirements listed on the individual course pages. Students should have any one of the following criteria: An English level of IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0) or TOEFL 540, Academia International English Language proficiency test, An English proficiency of intermediate level or above from Academia International or a NEAS accredited ELICOS course, A degree from a recognised international university majoring in English Language of literature or wholly conducted in English medium, An English medium high school qualification equivalent to Year 10 (VIC) and recognised by Australian educational authorities such as the Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training.
