This course is to meet the needs of international students from diverse backgrounds with a range of interests who wish to study an award program as a means of accessing higher education or to obtain recognition for units successfully completed. The major objectives of the course are to: promote student access to educational pathways and award courses, including students from equity groups and facilitate student access and achievement in higher learning. On successful completion of this course graduates may be eligible for admission to a bachelor degree program in the Faculty of Education.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants must have completed year 12; or Certificate in Educational Studies or equivalent; and prerequisite subjects specified by the relevant state/territory teacher registration body plus an overall academic IELTS score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each test).
