Course summary
This program has been designed for those wishing to operate as a beauty therapist including those who will employ staff and manage a beauty salon. On successful completion of this course participants may have the opportunity to gain employment in the areas of spa therapist, massage therapist, aroma-therapist, and consultant/representative for cosmetic companies, and nail technician, make-up artist, and Steiner cruise ship positions. This training package includes day spa and reflexology. The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is assessed through practical, written and oral assessments, case studies and assignments. Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be eligible for a WRB50105 Diploma of Beauty Therapy.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must be 18 years and over. They should have fulfilled English language requirements with IELTS score of 5.5 with a minimum score of 5.0 in each component, whilst students sitting the ACIT English test will need to be assessed with levels of 60 per cent for comprehension, written, reading and speaking tests.
