Course summary
This program aims to provide students with knowledge, skills and abilities to practice effectively as a clinical pharmacy practitioner involved in medicine use and pharmaceutical care, individualize, review and monitor a patient's medication regimen, demonstrate clear communication skills in clinical or non-clinical scenarios, critique and apply research methodologies relevant to clinical pharmacy practice, understand management or social issues in pharmacy and their relevance to clinical pharmacy practice.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) or Master of Clinical Pharmacy (coursework/research) or equivalent. They must be registered as a pharmacist (must be a registered pharmacist in Australia) and should have two years professional pharmacy experience. They should also satisfy the English language requirements: IELTS overall 7; reading 7; writing 7; speaking 7; listening 7; TOEFL - (Computer based score of 237; Essay writing score of 4.5); TOEFL - (Paper based score of 570; TWE (Test of written English) score of 5); TOEFL - (Internet Based (IBT) overall score of 90; writing score of 21).
