Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed the requirements of the degree of Master of Laws by Coursework or Master of Justice by Coursework with a grade point average of at least 5.0 on a 7 point scale at the Queensland University of Technology or its equivalent from another institution which, in the opinion of the Assistant Dean, Research maintains standards comparable with those required for the award of the degree of Master of Laws and Master of Justice by Coursework respectively at the Queensland University of Technology and, an applicant must also satisfy the following: have a minimum of two years professional experience appropriate to the proposed course of study; demonstrate a level of research experience and potential which is deemed acceptable to the Assistant Dean, Research, for example, by the publication of articles in refereed research journals; and demonstrate a sufficient command of the English language to complete the proposed course of study in that language. They must also satisfy English language requirements, IELTS overall band score of 6.5 with no sub-band below 6.0; or TOEFL score of 90 with at least 20 in all bands (Internet Based).
