Course summary
This course has three major areas of research interest: sustainability and building performance; cross-cultural/cross-disciplinary studies and digital design media. While attracting higher degree research candidates into one of these fields is a priority, applications from candidates with interest in other fields of architecture and landscape architecture will be considered.
Entry requirement for international students
Admission to a Doctor of Philosophy is normally granted on the basis of a relevant Bachelor degree with Honours of at least IIA standard or a Masters degree with a research component deemed appropriate by the Research Education and Development Committee (REDC). They should also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 7.0 (Reading 6.5, Listening 6.5, Speaking 6.5 and writing 7.0) and TOEFL: Paper based - total score of 600 with minimum of 5.0 in Test of Written English (TWE) or Internet-based - total score of 100 with minimum of 25 in Writing and 22 in Listening, Reading and Speaking.
