Course summary
Students gain knowledge and skills in creative writing, as well as competencies enabling them to work effectively across a range of jobs requiring strong writing skills. If students are pursuing the diploma for self-development, they will have a greater understanding of the creative writing genre allowing them to pursue personal writing projects and other opportunities.
Entry requirement for international students
Students entering the Graduate Certificate program will normally be required to hold an undergraduate degree, or equivalent, from a recognised higher education institution. They must satisfy any one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) score of at least 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in all subtests; a TOEFL score (paper-based test) of at least 550, with essay score of 4; TOEFL score (internet-based test) of at least 76, with a minimum writing score 18 or successful completion of Direct Entry English Pathway, with a minimum grade of 65 percent.
