Course summary
This program is designed to provide managers and professionals with management and leadership development beyond their current areas of expertise. The program aims to develop strong decision making, team work and communication skills, and a rich global perspective within an ethical framework. The program is designed in consultation with industry and the professions and features strategically oriented courses complemented by a range of hospitality management electives that allow for industry or functional study specialisation.
Entry requirement for international students
Students shall normally hold: a successfully completed bachelors degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; or a Graduate Diploma in Management with a grade point average of at least 4.0 from the University of South Australia or an equivalent qualification from another recognised university. Normally students who have completed a bachelors degree with a grade point average of 4.0 or better will be eligible for entry. A GPA of 4.0 refers to the UniSA grading scale which has a range 1 - 7, other Australian and international grading scales will be considered. International students must have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: Overall 6.5 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing) obtained within the last two years. Students are required to meet at least one of the English language entry requirements listed. IELTS 6.0, TOEFL PBT 577 with TWE of 4.5, TOEFL iBT 90 with no band less than 20, Cambridge CPE C, Cambridge CAE 58 (no less than Borderline in RW), CELUSA AE4, Pearson PTE Academic Bands below as per the Pearson equivalency table 66 with no communicative score less than 60.
