Course summary
This course provides candidates with the opportunity to complete the pre-entry educational requirements for CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) where a sixteen unit master degree is required. It can also be taken as an extension of the MPA as it contains the same twelve core units as the MPA, plus four additional electives.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed any one of the following qualifications in any discipline other than an accredited accounting major: an Australian (bachelor) undergraduate degree or equivalent, a three year University diploma or equivalent or an Australian advanced diploma in accounting and have five years full time equivalent business experience. They must also satisfy any one of the following English language requirements: an IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each subtest, TOEFL score of 575 with minimum score of 4.5 in TWE, TOEFL (CBT): 232 with minimum score of 4.5 in essay rating, TOEFL (IBT): 89 with writing score of 21 and all subtests score of 18 or they should provide satisfactory evidence that English was the medium of instruction in their secondary or tertiary studies.
