This program is designed for experienced professionals who wish to develop their managerial skills in order to excel in their chosen career. The program is designed for those who are already qualified and experienced in specialised fields and need to deepen their understanding of the core business disciplines in order to enhance strategic performance. MBA students develop a portfolio of key management competencies covering strategic decision making, human resource management, marketing, financial management, information systems, economic analysis and corporate governance, and international business strategy. Students can select elective subjects from a wide range of management related units.
Entry requirement for international students
Students should have obtained a recognised bachelors degree, in any major, with an average mark of 60 per cent, together with two years full-time relevant professional experience. Other qualifications such as a recognised graduate diploma in any major with an average mark of 50 per cent or a graduate certificate with an average mark of 60 per cent, plus two years full time relevant professional experience will also be considered. In addition they should have fulfilled English language requirements with IELTS (academic) overall score of 6.5, TOEFL (Internet-based) score of 88 and have credit in English for tertiary studies.

Residential services offer UOWD students a clean, safe, and economical living option in Dubai, allowing them to live together in a unique multi-cultural environment conducive to academic success, personal growth, and social development. Residential Services currently house undergraduate, graduate, and English study students in separate buildings for males and females each overseen by live-in residence supervisors. The residences are located in Jebel Ali Gardens (approximately 15 minutes by bus from Knowledge Village) available only for females, Ewan Complex (approximately 40 minutes by bus from Knowledge Village), and Ajman Residence (approximately one hour by bus from Knowledge Village) available only for males. All apartments in Jebel Ali Gardens are three bedroom flats. Flats at Ewan consist of one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom flats. Flats at Ajman consist of two bedroom and one bedroom flats. All bedrooms on three sites are allocated on a shared-basis only, two students per bedroom.

Participants have an opportunity to work with UOW research teams in areas such as information and communications technology, multimedia, nanotechnology, biotechnology, health sciences, engineering technologies, intelligence and security and organisational management. This creative community is developing on 33 seaside hectares just to the north of the Wollongong CBD and one hour from Sydney international airport. Its landscape and infrastructure are distinguished by the latest in high tech and sustainable design. The iC will employ up to 5,000 people and represents an investment of over $300 million.

Campus East student accommodation precinct is located in the northern part of the site and is the largest of the University residences. From 2009 it will house 615 residents in flexi catered and self catered accommodation. Students come from Australia and all over the world creating a supportive and fun community that is rich in diversity. The residence setting is comfortably spread across large grounds which includes a number of playing fields.
