Course summary
This course has recognised research strengths in: taxation, corporate and commercial law; workplace relations law; sports law; human rights law; native title and indigenous people’s law; medical law and ethics.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed Bachelor of Laws with honours or other qualifications deemed equivalent or an appropriate undergraduate degree and completion of a JCU Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate of Research Methods. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.5 (no component lower than 6.0) or TOEFL (paper based) score of 570 (plus minimum Test of Written English score of 4.5) or TOEFL (internet based) score of 90 (minimum writing score of 21) or Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 64.
