Course summary
This program is designed primarily for students who intend to study in the Foundation Studies Program, but have not achieved a sufficient level of English. Completion of the Pathway course will allow a direct entry into ANU College’s Foundation Studies Program, and subsequently into undergraduate studies at the Australian National University. The Pathway course is also available to intermediate-level (around IELTS 5-5.5) students who are not planning to do the Foundation Studies Program, but who want English for Academic Purposes.
Entry requirement for international students
Students should have an overall IELTS score of 5.0, with minimum Band of 4.5 in each of reading, writing, listening and speaking; or a computer-based TOEFL score of 180, with a TWE of 3; or a paper-based TOEFL score of 510 with a TWE of 3; or an internet-based TOEFL score of 64 with a TWE of 18.
