Course summary
This course aims to address the needs of the biomedical R and D and pharmaceutical industries, where graduates are required to be knowledgeable about the pharmacological properties of drugs as well as their physiological basis. It also aims to produce well-rounded professionals who are able to understand the business aspects of the biomedical sciences, commercialisation procedures as well as the business decisions. Graduates can find career opportunities in biomedical technologist, clinical trials coordinator, biomedical research assistant and biomedical sales product specialist.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants should have a minimum 3 GCE 'O' level credits; or international high school equivalent that includes passes in mathematics (elementary/additional) and one of the science subject (biology, chemistry, physics or combined science) or equivalent, for non-Singaporean applicants or Higher National Institute of Technical Education certificate holders in biotechnology. They should have a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 79-80 (internet-based) or minimum IELTS score of 6.0(academic module) or minimum grade of C6 for English at GCE 'O' level or equivalent.
