Course summary

This programme provides students with a solid grounding in economic theory, as well as the analytical and statistical tools needed to conduct high-quality theoretical and empirical research. It is conducted jointly with the University of Cergy-Pontoise (Paris), one of the leading French universities in Economics and Finance. Combining the faculties of both institutions is an important asset of the programme that allows for a wide range of courses/seminars as well as research facilities, varied experiences, and supervision for students. This programme is mainly focused on Economics concentration.

Program modules

The modules are: Industrial Organization, International Economics (micro or macro) and Public Economics.

Entry requirement for international students

Applicants must hold degrees equivalent to a master's degree and these may be degrees in engineering, degrees from business schools, degrees in medicine, pharmacy, veterinary science, law, architecture, etc., or a bachelor's degree with three years of professional experience. Selection is based on an exceptional academic record and/or professional career, high potential and strong motivation to pursue the selected advanced master's programme. Applicants to be considered for admission must demonstrate their proficiency in English with a TOEFL or TOEIC or IELTS score results; management aptitude test GMAT or TAGE-MAGE. They are required to present a score of English applicants native English speakers or who have pursued three years of graduate studies in English, or who have lived or worked three years in an English speaking country.
