Course summary
This programme provides students with tools, concepts and theories to conduct research and studies in Marketing. This knowledge can be gained by taking the courses and seminars offered by the Marketing department but also by other departments. For example, a student with a qualitative orientation can also attend seminars in management; a student with a more quantitative orientation can participate in seminars, for example, in Optimization or Advanced Econometrics. Students become a part of a collegial group in Marketing, with interaction and intellectual exchanges with the faculty. The aim is to enhance communication skills, and stimulate creative and rigorous thinking, all of which are very useful for research and consulting. This programme is mainly focused on Operations Marketing concentration.
Program modules
The modules are Quantitative track and Qualitative track.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants must hold degrees equivalent to a master's degree and these may be degrees in engineering, degrees from business schools, degrees in medicine, pharmacy, veterinary science, law, architecture, etc., or a bachelor's degree with three years of professional experience. Selection is based on an exceptional academic record and/or professional career, high potential and strong motivation to pursue the selected advanced master's programme. Applicants to be considered for admission must demonstrate their proficiency in English with a TOEFL or TOEIC or IELTS score results; management aptitude test GMAT or TAGE-MAGE. They are required to present a score of English applicants native English speakers or who have pursued three years of graduate studies in English, or who have lived or worked three years in an English speaking country.
