Course summary

This programme offered in collaboration with Loughborough University. It will helps the art student reinforce critical, imaginative and expressive skills in contemporary art practice, and to foster a deep understanding of diverse methodologies that enables a critical framework for specialist art production, study and research. Students will demonstrate self-reflexivity, good communication skills, and undertake research into material and conceptual issues independently. They also acquire a sound understanding of the larger theoretical context and milieu of contemporary international art, with the potential to contribute actively and constructively to the creative industries both in a local as well as global context.

Entry requirement for international students

Applicants must have completed a NAFA Diploma or its equivalent, with a minimum 5 GCE 'O' level passes with credit in English; minimum pass of 70 per cent for the Final Year Project (conducted by NAFA); or relevant diploma or its equivalent with relevant professional experience; a minimum pass of 70 per cent for the Final Year Project or its equivalent; or mature students with industrial experience; and a minimum pass of 70 per cent for the Final Year Project or its equivalent. Applicants should also demonstrate their English language proficiency with a TOEFL score of 600 or IELTS Band 6.5.
