Course summary
In this course students have the option to enrol in either single or double majors. The programme is fully accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and recognised by the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Students may be required to complete the foundation unit depending upon the advanced standing granted on admission to the course. Graduates will be allowed to use the title BA (Murdoch) after their names.

Psychology covers PSY141 Introduction to Psychological Science; PSY171 Introduction to Applications or Psychology; PSY173 Introduction to Psychological Research Methods; PSY247 Psychology: Human Development; PSY248 Psychology: Social Bases of Behaviour; PSY212 Psychology: Measurement, Design and Analysis; PSY213 Psychology: Abnormal Behaviour; PSY353 Psychology: Cognitive Processes; PSY351 Psychology: Biological Bases of Behaviour; PSY311 Psychology: Advanced Quantitative Research Methods. Marketing covers BUS209 Marketing and Advertising Law; BUS214 Marketing Management; BUS273 Consumer Behaviour; BUS321 International Marketing; BUS335 Marketing Research and Analysis; BUS324 Services Marketing.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants must have completed GCE A level; polytechnic Diploma; private Diploma/Advanced Diploma. Additionally applicants admitted to the Bachelor of Arts course may be required to undertake additional units in order to fulfil the required credit points. Some applicants may be required to complete bridging modules. The final decision rests with Murdoch University; applicants are required to meet Murdoch University English language requirement.
