Course summary
This course gives students the creative and technical knowledge and skills they need to become professionals in the games industry. The emphasis is placed on mobile gaming. Through a combination of theoretical and activity-based learning, students acquire the skills for game strategizing, game level design, and game scripting and production. They also learn the techniques and tools used in game development and 2D and 3D computer animation. Graduates can find career opportunities in games designer/artist; mobile games developer; online interactive games developer; animation designer/artist; multimedia games designer; special effects artist.
Entry requirement for international students
Students from Malaysia should have SPM. Chinese students should have completed senior high school. There are separate entry requirements for each country. They should have a minimum 3 GCE ‘O’ level credits or 5 GCE ‘N’ levels or senior high school equivalent. They should have a minimum TOEFL scores of 550 (paper-based) or 79-80(internet - based) or IELTS score of 6.0 (academic module) or minimum score of C6 in English at GCE 'O' level or TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) with a minimum score of 650.
