Course summary
This program includes foundation subjects in the areas of marketing fundamentals, accounting for decision making, economics, data analysis, customer experience, management and personal professional skills. These subjects are then complemented by specialist topics in marketing communications, consumer behaviour, international marketing, strategic marketing, public relations and interactive marketing. Marketing not only involves selling and promotion. It encompasses research and development of appropriate products, monitoring consumer demand, price policy, communication and customer service. Today’s marketing professionals must be able to assess current business trends to help maneuvers their companies into the most favourable positions. It offers choice and flexibility, with the option to combine marketing with a second major from international business, management and entrepreneurship, tourism management and hospitality management.

Entry requirement for international students
Applicants should have completed 12 years of schooling or equivalent. Successful completion of James Cook University Singapore foundation program will also satisfy the entrance requirement. There are different entry requirements from country to country. They must have IELTS 6.0 (no component lower than 5.5)/ TOFEL 550 (with a minimum written English text score of 4.0) and above; or satisfactory completion of the James Cook University English Language Preparatory Program (ELPP). Students who have successfully completed two years of full-time study in English medium may satisfy the English language requirement.
