Course summary
The course provides students with thorough insights into the retail industry as well as an understanding of the various models of retail marketing. Students learn how to manage the challenging retail environment and enhance its effectiveness by incorporating marketing and integrated marketing communication tools. Graduates can find career opportunities as retail manager, merchandiser, operations manager, buyer and customer service manager.
Entry requirement for international students
Students should have completed diploma from Polytechnic, Nitec or Higher Nitec graduates (only applicable to the advanced diploma programme of relevant studies), students with at least two GCE 'A' level credits, at least three GCE 'O' level credits, at least five 'N' level credits. Students must be able to speak and write fluently in English. Students who fulfill any of the requirements below will be exempted from English as a Second Language (ESL) classes: minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 79-80 (internet-based), minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (academic module) or equivalent, minimum score of C6 in English at GCE 'O' level.
