Course summary
This course builds and enhance students of their generic and managerial skills and to prepare students for roles in business and entrepreneurial activities where the ability to solve business problems by application and integration of the various business disciplines seen as critical.

The modules are Introduction To Tourism and Hospitality; Service Quality Management; HR Recruitment and Performance; Tourism Operations Management; Global Distributions System (Amadeus); Hotel Operations Management applications (Opera); Hospitality Operations Management I; Food and Beverage Management I; Industrial Attachment/ Integrated Project; Tourism and Hospitality Marketing; Hospitality Accounting and Finance; Legal, Quality Assurance and Safety; HR Management and Leadership; Event Management; Resort and Leisure Management; Hospitality Operations Management II; Food and Beverage Management II; International Business management; Organisational Analysis; Organisational Change; Organisational Learning; Entrepreneurship in the Hospitality Industry; Project Management; Strategic Human Resource Management; and Applied Hospitality Project.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed NITEC in Accommodation Operations / Food and Beverage Operations or GCE 'A' level or minimum 12 years of formal education (High School) or any other equivalent qualifications subject to approval of NIM Academic Board. they must also satisfy IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
