Course summary
This course is accredited externally by the Australian Institute of Welfare and Community Workers (AIWCW). The AIWCW has accredited the course to be delivered at the Academy of Human Development, Singapore. Entry requirement for international students
Applicant must possess Diploma in Counselling Skills (awarded by Edith Cowan University); or Diploma in Family Life Education (awarded by Edith Cowan University); or Diploma in counselling related fields from recognised institutions. Applicants who have graduated with the above qualification may gain exemption in units that overlap with the units offered in the Bachelor of Social Science. Students whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate the English proficiency by obtaining TOEFL score of 550 minimum, including TWE 5; computer based TOEFL score of 213 with an Essay rating of 5 or better; GCSE 'O' level, C Grade; University of Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English, A Grade, or academic IELTS overall band score of 6.0 (no individual band less than 6.0).
