Course summary
This programme equips students with the skills and knowledge to analyse managerial / supervisory situations in case studies on business organizations or functions relevant to their course of study. It also focuses on practical workplace knowledge and skills to enhance their career prospects. The programme includes research methods and graduate skills together with four modules relevant to the course of study and a dissertation or in the case of computing management and IT project. This programme help fresh graduates and working adults with either a diploma from one of the Singapore polytechnics or an advanced/higher diploma or equivalent to upgrade themselves to degree level with a top-up programme.
Program modules
The modules include: BUS 2003 Research Methods, BUS 2106 Graduate Skills, CIS 3101 IT Management, CIS 3102 Project Management, CIS 3103 Internet Security, CIS 3110 Distributed Systems, CIS 3100 Research and Development Project.
Entry requirement for international students
Students who have successfully completed a relevant Singapore polytechnic diploma or HND or China Dazhuan level diploma or the relevant higher diploma or equivalent can be admitted directly into or advanced diploma the final year of the degree programme.
