Course summary
This course is the third and fourth module of the Computer Networking course leading to CCNA certification and it comprises of four modules. It aims to equip participants with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to design, build, maintain and troubleshoot small to medium-size networks. Anyone who wants to have a head start in the computer networking industry may attend this programme.
Program modules
The CCNA-3 includes LAN Design, Basic Switch Concepts and Configuration, VLANS, VTP, STP, Inter-VLAN Routing, Basic Wireless Concepts and Configuration; and CCNA-4 includes Introduction to WANS, PPP, Frame Relay, Network Security, Access Control List, Teleworker Services, IP Addressing Services and Network Troubleshooting. The other modules of the Computer Networking course leading to CCNA certification are as follows: Module 1: Networking Fundamentals; Module 2: Routing Theory and Router Technology. Upon completion of the 4 modules, students are ready for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) examination.
