Course summary
This programme is a globally recognized standard for measuring the competence and integrity of financial analysts. It is administered and awarded by CFA Institute. Its curriculum develops and reinforces a fundamental knowledge of investment principles. Three levels of examination measure the CFA student's ability to apply these principles at a professional level. The CFA examination is held in more than seventy countries worldwide. This is a professional qualification related to finance and financial analysts are involved in the process of securities analysis, investment and risk management, investment banking and financial analysis.
Program modules
The program curriculum includes Analysis of Investments, Corporate Finance, Economics, Ethical and Professional Standards, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Portfolio Management and Analysis and Quantitative Methods.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicant must be minimum 25 years of age and should have completed a bachelor's (or equivalent) degree or they must be in the final year of their bachelor's degree program at the time of registration or must have four years of qualified, professional work experience or have a combination of work and college experience that totals at least four years. They are also expected to have IELTS score of 5.5 (minimum) or TOEFL score of 550 (minimum) / English intermediate level or equivalent.
