Course summary
This programme exposes students to a wide variety of art disciplines, including fine art, interior design, visual communication, and multimedia, helping students build up abilities in forging aesthetics with technology. At the same time, students will master educational technology and IT knowledge to step up the role of being a competent art teacher. It will see students studying in NAFA for the first three years and an additional year at the National Institute of Education (NIE) of Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Upon successful completion, students will graduate with both a Diploma in Art (Teaching) by NAFA, and a Diploma in Art Education by NIE. Graduates of the programme may find careers as Arts Consultants, Arts Administrator, Artistic Director, Artistes Manager, Box Office and Ticketing Manager, Business Manager, Community Liaison Manager, Concerts and Events Manager, Curator, Ensemble Librarian, Entrepreneur, Event and Exhibitions Coordinator, Festival Organiser, Fundraising and Philanthropy Manager, Gallery Owner, Marketing and Advertising Personnel, Museum Executive, Performing Arts Manager, Stage and Production Manager, Production Management Personnel, Programme Manager, Public Relations Personnel, Radio Broadcast Studio Manager, Special Events Coordinators, and Teacher.
