Course summary
This course is a professional marketing programme specially designed for those who wish to upgrade their knowledge and skills in sales and marketing, and to further their career. Previously known as DSM, it is widely recognised in Singapore as the professional sales or marketing manager's passport to a career in sales or marketing for over 20 years. The DSMM programme aims to provide students with a managerial orientation towards sales and marketing. It covers all relevant topics that an informed sales and marketing professional needs to know, as well as providing insights to issues faced in strategic, tactical and administrative marketing.
Program modules
The modules are DSM 101 Marketing Principles; DSM 301 Management and Organisation; DSM 103 Business Economics; DSM 201 Consumer Behaviour; DSM 202 Financial and Managerial Accounting; DSM 203 Sales Management; DSM 102 Statistics for Marketing; DSM 302 Marketing Practices and Business Law; DSM 401 International Marketing; DSM 303 Marketing Research; DSM 402 Marketing Communications; DSM 403 Strategic Marketing: Case Analysis and Decisions.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants must possess any one of the following qualifications: two GCE 'A' level and two GCE 'AO' level credits; Higher National ITE Certificate (Higher NITEC) / ITC; LCCI Diploma in Marketing (Level 3) with three GCE 'O' level credits and minimum two years of working experience; MISTC Certificate in Sales and Marketing (CSM); Upper secondary school education (year 12 or A levels equivalent). Matured applicants who do not possess the above qualifications but have relevant work experience may also be considered upon approval of Partner University.
