Course summary
This course is highly interactive and helps answer why a conscientious person can end up causing an accident due to a maintenance error. It has been adapted from the 1993 Transport Canada/Industry developed workshop and completion of it qualifies as recurrent training in Canada and the USA. This course is opt for Aircraft maintenance related Engineers, Supervisors and Managers and Anyone who is involved or responsible for workplace safety.
Program modules
Modules include the objective and outline, what determines a person’s characteristics, behavioral analysis, characteristics of an aircraft maintainer, human factor errors (the dirty dozen), stress, fatigue, communication or the lack of, teamwork or the lack of, case studies, and wrap up.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants should be able to communicate in spoken and written English. Aircraft maintenance experience will be welcomed but not essential.
