Course summary
This programme is designed to benefit both experienced business practitioners and early-career graduates. Students will be exposed to the full range of management functional areas to provide them with relevant skills and a conceptual framework, which they may later reinforce with further on-the-job management experience.
Program modules
Core units (all units are compulsory): Accounting; Economic Management and Strategy; International Management; Ethical Dimensions of Organisations, Management and Leadership; Managerial Finance; Marketing Principles; Organisational Behaviour; Data Analysis and Decision Making; Strategic Management (to be taken as the capstone unit); students select three option units from the list below, subject to their availability offered by UWA in Singapore at the point of time: Legal Principles for Management; Human Resource Management; Information Management; Organisational Change and Transformation; Strategic International Management; Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Leadership Coaching; Selected Topics in Management; Advanced Topics in Management; Decision Making and Business Judgement; International Study Program; Leadership Effectiveness; Leading and Facilitating Teams; Negotiation Behaviour; Project Management; Management Project (24 points); Management Report (12 points); Management Case Study.
Entry requirement for international students
Students to be admitted to the programme must have completed any approved bachelor's degree with a weighted average mark of 60 per cent from UWA or equivalent; and should have minimum of two years of relevant work experience (which may include compulsory military service). Students for whom English is not a native language or whose first degree was not taught in English must have an acceptable level of English such as a TOEFL score of 570 or IELTS of 7 overall and no band less than 6.5.
