Course summary

The MSc (Finance) programme consists of three core courses and three elective specialist courses with two research papers. Graduates will be allowed to use the title MSc (NUI) (Finance) after their names. Students must achieve a minimum of 90 per cent attendance to be eligible to sit for the examination.

Program modules

The modules covered are: Term 1 Organisational Behaviour and Work, Business Policy; Term 2 Corporate Financial Management, Capital Markets and Institutions; Term 3 Strategic Finance, Advanced Treasury and Risk Management; Term 4 Research Paper 1, Research Paper 2. Research Papers 1 and 2 will be prepared concurrently from Term 1 and to be finalised for submission at the end of Term 4.

Entry requirement for international students

Applicants must hold a recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications. Senior executives or business leaders without the above mentioned qualification but with substantial senior management experience in business or related industries may be considered by the University on a case-by-case basis.
