Course summary
This programme will provide students an in-depth knowledge in the fundamentals, design, analysis and operation of mechatronic systems. It refers to a synergistic combination of precision mechanical engineering, electronic control and systems thinking in the design of products and manufacturing processes.

Entry requirement for international students
Students should have obtained good bachelor's degree with honours in engineering/science or its equivalent and preferably with relevant working experience. Students with prior master’s degree are encouraged to apply as the MTD is considered as a post-master degree programme. International Students whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate the English proficiency by obtaining good IELTS score of 6.0, GRE score of 1800, GATE score of 85 per cent, TOEFL scores of 580 in paper based and 237 in computer based.
