Course summary
In this course students learn to supervise and coordinate the works of landscape implementation and maintenance (hardscapes and softscapes). The graduates are employed as assistant or junior landscape supervisors in the landscaping construction and maintenance companies. Graduates could also work as senior nursery technicians, senior tree-care technicians and senior landscaping technicians in the related landscaping sectors. In addition, they can be employed by the building maintenance companies. Some of the job titles held by Nitec in Facility Technology (Landscaping Services) graduates include park officer, senior floricultural technician and senior interiorscape technician. There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to prepare themselves by upgrading their technical skills and knowledge through higher-level courses.

Entry requirement for international students
Students need to have completed GCE 'N' or GCE 'O' level. They must ensure that they do not suffer from colour-appreciation deficiency.
