Course summary
In this course students learn to set-up, maintain and troubleshoot local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communication systems, computers, peripherals and handheld devices. The graduates are employed by a wide range of private and public organisations in all industries, ranging from telecommunications, manufacturing, banking, retail, government, education and even health care and insurance. There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to prepare themselves by upgrading their technical skills and knowledge through higher-level courses.

Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed GCE 'O' level grades 1-8 in any two subjects or GCE 'N' level passes with grade A-D or 1-5 in English language and two other subjects. Students must ensure that they do not suffer from colour-appreciation deficiency.
